The Scavenge jumped on Surfrider Sunshine Coasts bi-annual cleanup north of Noosa in Octoer.
300 hands pulled out tonnes of litter from 60km stretch of dunes! Much of the soft plastics (bags, packaging, wrappers etc) are being melted down and made into made into building bricks. We got trivia-ed up from the Quiz Master, Anthony Hill, all about plastics and marine debris.

It was a seriously awesome to spend the whole weekend beach cleaning and have the scavenge goods set-up to reward everyone for their hard work! Thanks for having us Surfrider, can't wait for the next one!
