Newcastle Seaside Scavenge

Despite being swept up in the whirly ways of the wind at Saturdays Newcastle Scavenge it was exciting days! This marked our twelfth scavenge and we’re pretty stoked that the 36.04kg of litter collected from Merewether and surrounds tipped our scavenge tally into the one tonne realm.

Thanks to the VanderAa brothers for joining us for the second-time and tapping up a storm for us to trade trash to! As well as ALL the local legends that came down to share their upcycling skills, their plastic-free tips and change making action... good times were definitely had!
